What is netball?
Netball is an exciting, fast and skilful game played between two teams of seven players.
The aim is to score more points than your opponent by moving the ball from one end of the court to your opponents goal circle. You do this using a combination of running, jumping, throwing and catching. Once in the goal circle you are able to score a goal. Meanwhile, your opponents use defensive movements and strategies to stop you doing this. Once a goal has been scored, the opposing team takes possession of the ball, and they attempt to score a goal themselves.
All players are designated specified areas in which they can move.
