Parents and carers can now discover and book a wide range of summer holiday activities and sports sessions for children and young people across Rother. Thanks to funding from Active Rother, working in partnership with Rother Sports Development, local community groups are providing more opportunities to help children and young people get active during the summer holidays. These activities have been made possible through the Active Rother Children’s Summer Holiday Small Grants Programme 2026.
Getting active has many benefits for both physical and mental health. That’s why the Small Grants Programme supports new activities and helps extend existing sports activities across Rother during the summer holidays, creating more opportunities for children and young people, particularly those who face barriers to taking part.
Congratulations to all the groups that were successful in securing funding, and thank you in advance to the coaches and volunteers helping to make these opportunities possible. From football and dance to tennis, yoga and multi-sports, there are activities taking place across the district. Find out more about the funded summer holiday activities below, including where they’re taking place and how to book a place.
