De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill

Targeted at residents aged over 50, visitors to this event can find out about activities and events to help them stay healthy and enjoy life. The event will give visitors the chance to meet local groups, try out new activities and find out ways to improve their health and wellbeing.

The list of information stalls, activities and demonstrations is as follows:

All stalls will be available between 3.00 and 5.30pm

  3. Make Up Demonstration (led by Jane Mather) in the Auditorium foyer
  4. Exercise to Music (led by Christie Ward) – 3.15 to 3.40pm in the Studio
  5. The Art of Mindfulness (led by Julia Cox) – 3.45pm to 4.10pm in the Studio
  6. Chi Gong demonstration (led by Alex Bolton) – 4 to 4.30pm on the Terrace
  7. Body Conditioning (led by Lynne Ratcliffe) – 4.15 to 4.30pm in the Studio
  8. Groove (led by Nicky Leach) – 4.35 to 5.00pm in the Studio
  9. Circle Dancing (led by Pauline Thompson) – 5.05 to 5.30pm in the Studio
  10. Food for Life Talk (led by Nicky Leach) – 4.15 to 4.30pm on the 2nd Floor of the Pavilion
  11. Chair Based Standing Exercise (led by Chrystal Brookes) – 4.45 to 5.15pm on the Terrace

Anti-ageing and healthy food options available throughout the day up until 4.30pm.

The afternoon event is open to all, with residents urged to come near the start to take advantage of the free sessions but booking for the evening talk is essential. Tickets can be booked online at www.dlwp.com/how-to-age-well
