Bexhill Tennis Club has a long and proud tradition of providing residents the chance to play competitive and social tennis in the area stretching back to 1888 when it was founded.
Players range from beginners to those looking to improve or play more competitive tennis. It’s membership also includes players who want to play a more social, less strenuous game form of the game.
The Club uses outside courts 3 & 5 through a lease with Rother District Council. These have been newly renovated by the Club and provide an ideal surface for tennis players to enjoy the game throughout the year.
The club house is located alongside the tennis court 3, next to the Indoor Bowls Club and provides a good base for a catch up or a cup of tea.
Group or individual coaching is available for Full Members with a registered licensed Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) coach.
The Club is based in Egerton Park, Bexhill and is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club.
Becoming a member
Membership is open to everyone, and the club is keen to welcome anyone who would like to join and become part of the tennis community in the park.
Full or Associated annual membership worked out in 2025 to be the equivalent of £1 to £2 a week.
The club prides itself on being one of the friendliest in Bexhill. It puts on social activities throughout the year especially during summer months. Everyone is encouraged to get involved.
