Are you looking for some summer activities to do with the kids in the Sidley area of Bexhill?
Throughout August, young people can take part in a Summer Programme of events as part of the Sidley Streetgames project.
For bookable sessions please email sidleystreetgames@gmail.com.
For those with “No need to Book” written next to the event just turn up.
Please be mindful of the weather, remember sun cream, hats and drinks.

Events
MONDAYS
- Freestyle Fun Dance Workshop runs between 4.30-5.30pm at All Saints Church on 5, 12 & 19 August. Ages 6-11 years old.
TUESDAYS
- Family Rounders every Tuesday between 5-6pm (weather dependent) on Sidley Rec
- Jump Club BMX Sessions run between 6.30-7.30pm – No need to book
- Football Camp runs between 4.30-6.30pm,at Sidley Rec on 13, 20, 27 August. Ages 7+ years old
WEDNESDAYS
- Girl Zone runs between 5.30-6.25pm at All Saints Church on 21 & 28 August. Girls aged 10-15 years old – No need to book
THURSDAYS
- Dance Workshop every Thursday from 5.30pm at Freedom Church. Ages 6-11 years old – No need to book
FRIDAYS
- Arts and Crafts on the Allotments at Ingrams Allotments from 10am – 2, 9 & 16 August. – Ages 8-15 years old
What is the Heart of Sidley
Sidley was identified as an area of need and as a result £1million was allocated for the area through the Big Local fund. The Heart of Sidley started to use its funding in 2014 and is due to finish in 2025.
The partnership works with the community to meet the needs and wants of the community. It does this eery two years through a consultation process.
The partnership is made up of residents and those with a business within Sidley and supported by Big Local rep and two locally trusted organisations. Click here to meet the team
